What is the difference between a PRE horse and an Andalusian?

The term "Andalusian" is commonly used for any Spanish-type horse, but it is not an official breed. A PRE (Pura Raza Española) is an officially recognised breed with a strict studbook maintained by ANCCE in Spain. Only horses with an ANCCE passport are genuine PRE horses.
